I like them both but my favorite too is in color. Her hair, skin, eyes...all so perfect and Laura's personality is soooo colorful it just seems most appropriate.
I'm a b&w fan, but in this case definitely COLOR! The highlights in her hair, the rosy pink cheeks & lips, and the little blond curl by her ear are best captured in color!
The color one! I love the variations in her hair, but what I really love are the soft pinks in her cheeks, chin, lips & ears. Then your eye is drawn to the back by the darker pink in her scarf. Also, I think in the black & white photo her eyes compete with other dark areas in her hair and in the background. In the color one the eyes stand alone- as they do in real life!
I also like the colored picture because of all the subtle skin tones and her beautiful dark eyes. Also the soft light reflecting on her skin and hair is so beautiful.

I prefer Laura in living color! Especially given the way the background is so softly blurred.

i like them both for different reasons...i can see why it was hard to decide.....both are beautiful!
