this has a great feeling of serenity to it. a very nice photograph. the angles made by the window treatments really do suit this perfectly, and the woodwork looks nice here as well. matthew looks reflective- like he's journaling something of great import.
The lighting and the placement of Matthew in the frame really caught my eye. I love how HSers can 'do school' wherever they want...on the floor, on a table.
