Oh my! Is that like a kids area? That place rocks!

I'm so excited about going to Ireland with you via the web. :-)

No, this was not a kids area, it was our gate that happened to be tucked away under an raised walk way. The kids happily sat for the 4 hours we were in Newark playing with all the stuff I brought. Matthew made a battle scene on the wall with the Wiki Stix while Lily made jewelry. We took turns letting Annie and Laura walk around, hoping to tire them out for the flight... sorry to say that didn't help. I gave them both Benedryl to make them sleep and it had the opposite effect and they were WIRED the whole way to Ireland. Annie usually my sleeper slept 40 minutes in a 20 hour period! Laura slept about the same. That on top of the 3 blowouts Annie had made it a long and interesting flight! All in all, minus Lily throwing up in the hire car on the way to Mums house and the lack of sleep, it was an OK journey.
Love you all back home, I am so glad I have this photo project to keep me in touch with you!

It sounds like a scene from a movie...so much for uneventful. I bet you are wiped out!

I think I told Shona about Wiki stix? They SAVED our lives on the plane ride to Hawaii and Colorado several times over. I got them at SETHSA one year and they were a huge hit. I'm not sure where to get them now. Shona?

Shannon R., you were the one to tell me about the Wiki Stix and I got them at SETHSA this year. I just regret not getting more!

So cool to 'see' you through this humble little blog! FYI, I got my WikiStix at Hobby Lobby for around $4.95 a pack. They're AWESOME...discovered them after the lady over at preschoolersandpeace*com recommended them. Sorry that your flight ended up sleepless...yikes! Hope you guys are getting rested and refreshed by now!
