Oh, I love the contrast between the tangerine walls ad the navey blue shirt.

I love this. So very sharp and clear! However, was this today? You are in a long-sleeve sweatshirt! I'm in a sleeveless shirt burning up over here. It must be pregnancy hormones!

I too love this, but where is it? This must be upstairs? It doesn't look familiar...love the colors.

You look great even in a sweatshirt! I've never seen you wear one before. I don't think I've ever seen your hair up either- except that time Sunshine and I came to visit you and you came out on the front porch in a couple of towels having just finished your shower... :) The orange and blue do contrast nicely. Makes me think of the Astros back when they had cool uniforms.

This is a cool introspective photograph! Is this a mirror reflection?

Ladies,
Let me admit that this is a shot from back in April. I was in the front hall bathroom shooting into the mirror without the flash while waiting for Laura to go potty. THe bathroom walls are red and the shower unit is cream, I guess the lack of flash somehow mixed the colors to make the orange look! My hair was up cause it was not washed and I couldn't find my head scarf!
I have been a bit blah this week and have not been shooting, anyhow my girls are all covered in mosquito bites and Laura has face scratches so now is not the best time for shots of them :) the muse is just not moving with me this week.
I am reading a bunch of new 'how to' photography books and learning how much I have to learn about photography. I see now that any good photos I have have taken is because of sheer luck :( and photoshop, the latter, according to my books, should not be necessary if I handle my camera correctly. Being a self taught photographer is a tough road. But I am determined to grasp shutter speed, ISO and aperture.
If you Texas ladies want to borrow my books let me know.

I'm not studying how to take photos, but I do agree that Photoshop shouldn't be necessary for a good picture. I almost made my theme of the week "no alterations" for that very reason!
